You can learn a lot from a trees dendroclimatologi You can learn a lot from a trees dendroclimatological history. Or exactly what the climate was like during that trees life span. I think it's easy to go through the rhythms when you are building with wood, but for me it's much more personal. I spent a chunk of my life as a wildland firefighter, protecting the forests, and caring for them. I like to put that same emphasis into each piece I create. It matters to me, and eventually it will matter to the person who owns that completed instrument.
